So currently now in 2020, there is this novel coronavirus outbreak. It's a viral infection that's affecting the world now (I would think).
The infectious rate of this virus is pretty scary, in the sense that a person who is the carrier of this virus, may not have symtoms of the cold but they are able to pass this virus on to other people.

The last time something like this happened was Sars.
And to be honest, I don't have much impression of it bc I was still in primary school.
I only remember we were all given a thermometer.
And that thermometer was with me for many years, haha.
A durable thermometer. LOL.

Anyway, hope this passes soon and may everyone stay healthy!!

It's been a super long while. LOL.


Anyway, the reason I'm here today is to blog about my broken eyeshadow. LOLOLOL.
So recently, I'm in love with cute eyeshadow packaging and colors.
I've bought an Etude eye palette about a year ago? And a MISSHA cony eyeshadow palette late last year.
This year I think about March, I got some makeup online from Colourpop.
Combined with 2 other colleagues to get free shipping.

My eyeshadow palettes are increasingggg.

But yup, the reason I got Colourpop is because a colleague of mine lent me her palette during D&D this year.
Just applied a little bit, and the colors are so visible!! Color was lasting too. I was so amazed.

So much stronger than the korean ones. LOL.

So the eyeshadow palette I got is from Colourpop is the Zodiac collection.
The quality and formula is seriously really good and amazing.
So yup, with this quality, I doubt I'm gonna get anymore korean eye makeup even if they are super cute, haha.

Okay, so I've been trying to apply eyeshadow during the weekends. So as not to waste money.
Don't like to apply too much makeup when I'm working, lol.
Then this morning, as I am just taking out this palette, the Cancer shade dropped out.
To the mirror side.
I was in serious shock as I have only just received the palette last month, lol.


Tried to put it back to its area and left it on my table as is bc it's already loose.
And continued to go out. Lol. Btw Cancer shade is actually the top right one.

After that I googled 'How to put back broken eyeshadow' and viola.

Things needed to restore your broken eyeshadow:

• Rubbing alcohol
• Coin (about same size as your eyeshadow)
• Paper towel

So yupp,









From afar it looks pretty much okay. LOL.

So yay. I managed to salvage my eyeshadow!!
Today was only the second time I've used this? LOL.

Really really love this palette, as you can probably already tell. LOL.

The Cancer shade is like my favourite shade to put at the start of my eye.
I've used Scorpio, Capricon, and Aries shade so far.
Got this palette because of this Halo eyeshadow Kathleen Lights did. So pretty.
But I don't think asian eyes can achieve that look. Lol.


Anyway, on a side note, one of my closest clique friends got hospitalised today..
I'm happy to be able to say don't worry about your bills, you are fully covered. <3 p="">But again, sometimes I think, especially in terms of work, sometimes even if I say so much, some people think that I am biased (towards my company)? Or maybe they don't understand what I am saying? Or they know what I am saying but don't care? I also don't know.
Some other agent come and just want that sale without being fully transparent, and they got it.
But I am really thinking for that person. Oh well. Lol.

Over time, as I review other people's financial portfolios, there are some who really make me feel .... about their planning.
Just really makes me feel some agents are so unethical and anyhow.
But I'm not the type to just be direct and shoot people. Like, do you even know what you are buying. Lol.

Okay. End rant. Of course I do have super nice clients that I really appreciate a lot.

Other than work, let me update you about my life.

Anyway I've been back at Pokemon Go now in recent months.
And today, my level is 30!

There has been a lot of changes since I started in 2016. Lol.
Things like raid, legendaries, gyms etc.

I think there's been a huge shift in age demographic since the intial playing months of the game.

Just the day before, when I went to a nearby raid after my appointment, there were a group of elderly there LOL.

So yupp, there's a dratini event today.
From 11am to 3pm. Server was unable to accomodate to the huge amount of people, so crashed for quite a bit.
Extended event to 5pm to compensate for the crash.

There's also a medal system where the types of pokemon are caught.
Started with 16 dragon types caught.
To the 142 at the end of the day. LOL.
Can imagine how many dratinis are caught today. Hahahahah.

Hatched a baby pokemon today too!!!
Super cute.

Shiny dratinis are caught too.
I caught 7, boyfriend caught 8.
Boyfriend also managed to complete the 200 dragon type medals. LOL.
Think he started from 40+.

Walked a total of 20,946 steps. Omg.
From morning brunch with boyfriend > anyhow walk around at mbs > 2 legendaries > dinner > home.

It's 2018 already!
Today is the first day of Chinese New Year.
Time flies.

Went to temple, and got the 签 (dk which chinese character lol) 生日点灯.

Wore the iamkai bag out and got people telling me that the bag is nice. Yay!

Went to great-grandmother's house in the evening. As usual, we can't remember the unit. LOL.

Went wrong side of the unit again, but luckily my dad didn't kind of like force open like last year. Lol.

After that when we went home, we were talking about which bus stop to alight so will be closer to home. LOL.
Faint. Dad kept talking about it since we alighted. Lol.

But anyway, recently, felt like there are lots of hospitalisation news around me. Due to accident or illnesses. :(
Clients, relatives, neighbour, friends.. :(
Stay healthy people!!!
But then again, these are usually unexpected and sudden.
Financial planning is so important!
I will do my best to help more people!!!!!
Sometimes, I don't know if I should have pressed more. Sigh.

Oh, also passed my General Insurance!
Contracted and am a representative already, haha.
Yay! Next papers to take would be Chartered Financial Consultant. Total of 8 papers LOL.
Will take them in another 3-4 years.
Then my namecard would have another line, LOL.

Thinking that EQ is so important.
How one handles different situation is art. Lifelong process.
How one sees a situation is also different depending on your viewpoint.

If one is too nice, people will think you are a pushover.
If one gets agitated, people will think better don't get near this person, this person is petty.

No matter how much pressure you put to the keys, there won't be any difference to fhe volume.
There will just be one tone to each key.

There is no way to tune it.

Ended up queueing for 1plus hour.
Became late for movie, lol.

First time in an IMAX theatre. Quite cool.

Then went to Bugis to eat Kogane Yama.
Very nice too. LOL.
Had vegetable tendon.
Pardon my english cause it seems like I only use 'very nice' to describe food. Lolol.

In summary, quite tired now. LOL.

Quite busy for the past few months.

Went Hello Kitty land in Malaysia in June, also had fraternity at kukup in June.

Didn't bring a single rm during my kukup trip, LOL. The thought didn't even cross mt mind. #amazedbymyself

Bf gt tickets to Hello Kitty land!! Activities were surprisingly for children. LOL.

Went to Thailand for this year's Mid Year retreat. Had no idea the hotel I'm staying at is a 5 star hotel.
Should de a recap soon in case I forgot it all.

But anyway, main point today is that I've been having diarrhea for the past day.
Thought I'd recovered actually in the morning.
After reaching home from my 11am appointment, ls once. After that the ls continued. Gg.
Postponed my next appointment and sing k at night. Lolol.

Feels like I'm going to see doctor tomorrow already. Charcoal pill not working for this situation.
Can claim from my accident plan for food poisoning most likely. LOL.

But ahhh, only ate home cooked dinner yesterday. Sob.

Anyway got to go toilet. Bb. LOL.

Sometimes I wonder what I'm supposed to learn.

Got my mom a cake (yay thanks to groupon LOL) and flowers.
Flowers was a last minute add-on, just thought of it on Thursday. Think I bought it on Friday or Saturday.

And my dad is kind of funny.

When my brother came back after self collecting the durian cake, this was what happened-
Mom: -something like- Whoa, when did you all plan for the cake? How much is it?
Dad: It's a mystery
Me: 当然是 mystery, 你都没有出钱 (LOL)

Like, didn't 出 anything still want to make it seem he was part of it. LOL.

Flowers came at 12+pm, haha.

Anyway, main point I'm going to talk about today is about my D&D yesterday. LOL.

It's like my first D&D here with SP group (my organisation), haha.
The D&D's theme was masquerade party.
The masks are quite cool.

Unexpectedly, lots of people wore full length dresses/gowns.
Felt a little underdressed. But yup, black makes things better. LOL.

Need to think of situations in which I can wear my black dress too.
Like maybe when I want to dress as a witch? HAHAHAHA. #justkidding

Food is awesome!
Reminds me of the 开工 lunch for CNY.

Fast forward, the event has ended.
So yupp.
I didn't know fairmont was at the top of Raffles City, lolol.

Quite late by the time we ended. Around 11+pm.
So I was following people blindly to find how to go to the mrt. LOL.

Wanted to find it myself first, but the main floor that I know of has closed.

Thus, followed group A.
Not close with this group actually. LOL.
I think I just randomly followed behind them then added random comments.
One girl kept staring at me. Must be wondering where I came from. LOL.

Midway, I saw group B.
Closer with the group as we actually talk to each other every few days.
One said just walk together, and she wanted to get her bag from her manager's car. So yup, went down the basement to the car. Then went back up again.
We were wondering how to go to the mrt.
Since every exit was blocked. LOL.

Spotted person C.
Then told group B, person C must be going to the mrt.
So just follow. HAHAHHAHAH.

And yup, we all went down the basement to find the exit out to the mrt.
Yay.

Don't know how much time I spent going from following group A to B to see person C. LOL.

So, lesson learnt is that I now know how to exit from inside Raffles City to the mrt. Lolol. #mainpoint

Seen the video of raclette cheese on facebook before. It's actually of another food place but ya, nvm haha.

Picture the swiss cheese wheel > add heat > cheese melts > cheese goes gooey > cheese is placed on top of your food.
OMGGGGGGG.

The most epic CNY visitation just happened today.

So before heading there, I asked my dad for the address so I could try using Grab to see how much it was.
He told me Blk 286.

Saw that the price was actually $9, and there were no discount codes so we didn't use it.

When we were there, my dad said it was Blk 268. LOL.

Anyway nvm, headed up to the lift and went to the ninth floor.
Dad had called beforehand that we were heading over. So we know there are people at home.

So upon reaching there, the doorbell was pressed and nobody opened the door.
Stood outside the corridor for quite a while.
My brother and I started doubting if we were at the correct floor.
My bro went downstairs to double check. LOL.

At this point, I was already laughing. LOL.

Pressed the doorbell somemore and even knocked on the door.
My dad kind of used his hand to open the 木门 too. But it was locked. LOL.

My bro and I had doubtful expressions by then HAHA.
Asked my dad to just call to double check.
Bc we usually come once a year, and we don't really remember, lolol.

After hanging up the phone call, I asked what is the unit number. He said it's there.
My brother continued asking if he asked for the unit number. He said no. LOL. Before that I also asked him if he has written the exact address on his phone or something. But no too. LOL.

Idk how, but we decided to check the other unit. Turns out it was actually there. LOL.

Before that, my dad was saying like doorbell not working or something on the phone. Lolol.
I thought I could hear the doorbell ringing clearly. Omg.

Had this raclette cheese toast with ice cream just now.

But anyway, back to raclette cheese, I would recommend cheese lovers to try!!
Seen the video of raclette cheese on facebook before. It's actually of another food place but ya, nvm haha.

Picture the swiss cheese wheel > add heat > cheese melts > cheese goes gooey > cheese is placed on top of your food.
OMGGGGGGG.

The most epic CNY visitation just happened today.

So before heading there, I asked my dad for the address so I could try using Grab to see how much it was.
He told me Blk 286.

Saw that the price was actually $9, and there were no discount codes so we didn't use it.

When we were there, my dad said it was Blk 268. LOL.

Anyway nvm, headed up to the lift and went to the ninth floor.
Dad had called beforehand that we were heading over. So we know there are people at home.

So upon reaching there, the doorbell was pressed and nobody opened the door.
Stood outside the corridor for quite a while.
My brother and I started doubting if we were at the correct floor.
My bro went downstairs to double check. LOL.

At this point, I was already laughing. LOL.

Pressed the doorbell somemore and even knocked on the door.
My dad kind of used his hand to open the 木门 too. But it was locked. LOL.

My bro and I had doubtful expressions by then HAHA.
Asked my dad to just call to double check.
Bc we usually come once a year, and we don't really remember, lolol.

After hanging up the phone call, I asked what is the unit number. He said it's there.
My brother continued asking if he asked for the unit number. He said no. LOL. Before that I also asked him if he has written the exact address on his phone or something. But no too. LOL.

Idk how, but we decided to check the other unit. Turns out it was actually there. LOL.

Before that, my dad was saying like doorbell not working or something on the phone. Lolol.
I thought I could hear the doorbell ringing clearly. Omg.

Imagine if there were people at home, and the person actually opened the door.
Would have been so funny. LOL.
