Even more speechless about recent days politics (US's one) and some people's comments about insurance.

Booked hotel rooms!!!!
Finally. LOL.
Been looking through ryokans and I was so fed up already, lolol.
Spent about 6 hours just to confirm the booking???? Lol.
The one we are living in Osaka is about $82/night. The ryokan was $90+/night. So we didn't get it. The other ryokan didn't have the number of nights we wanted.
So we thought we were going to stay in Hakone for a night. So we booked Tokyo's first for 4 nights.
After searching around, Hakone is too ex/ulu so we decided to make it a day trip instead.
Went back to the tokyo hotel site but couldn't modify the stay bc the rooms are not available. Sob.
Ended up with one 'empty' night.
Planned to YOLO and stay at those capsule hotels, but they didn't have much for women. Most of it is for men.
After searching around, we booked one hotel room at tokyo instead. Quite near to the main one we are staying at. LOL.
$65/night. Don't think this is the ryokan type, but we can sleep in futons!! Haha.
Main one was $56/night.
Right now I'm eyeing one Hakone resort which has free shuttle bus from Hakone Yumoto station. HAHAHHAHAHAH.
That's going to be my first shuttle bus in Japan. LOLOL.
And yup, as you can see, Tokyo is less expensive than Osaka?!?!
Or maybe we just need to book half a year in advance. LOL.
Even Though I Could Fail
Trekked at Tree Top walk today!
Didn't check the tree top thingy timing before, but it's actually closed on Mondays.
Walked the so called long way. But like, it was quite short? And it was different from the first time I walked the long route. Lolol.
Walked the venus drive way on the way back, haha.
And thought I was walking quite slowly HAHA. Since my phone showed min/miles. Turned out to be the fastest pace I've ever walked. 11.55min/km. LOL.
The fastest I walked was 12min+/km. Lolol. And the previous time was 15min+/km.
First time I didn't pause too.
So yupp. Quite tiring. HAHA.
And went to NEX to have Kabe no Ana!!
Saw my cousin posting it before.
Quite nice.
I remember dismissing this shop when I was there at Shokutsu 10 though. Few years ago I think. LOL.
Sad thing was the picture of my pasta is quite blurred. And they really have generous servings of mushroom in their soup!!
Try Everything
Some things to update I think.
First, watched Zootopia movie!
Super awesome movie.
Thought-provoking. There were some scenes that I felt were super relevant.
I.e. the scene where the predator animals went savage, and the prey animals were all afraid of them :(
Tbqh, it exists here too, some people's attitude to foreign workers. :(
Sigh.
I think I only kind of attempt to shift away when some people's B.O. are a little too much, lolol.
And the scene when Judy instinctively reached out for her Fox spray after the speech?
I think in a way, this exists in our mentality too.
The peace that we have is fake, lol.
But yupp, we need this peace still.
Second, double charge of my card from Delta for my air tickets.
Omg, only realized it just now. Think I sounded so scared. LOL.
But yup, should be settled by tomorrow!!
Third, saw this video of domestic maids and working moms on Facebook.

The first thought I had after watching was, did the person who did this experiment think about anything?
Why do working moms exist? Are you trying to push on the role that women are the ones who should spend more time with their children? Be caregivers/housewives and stay at home?? What about the dad???? So the dad doesn't have to?!?!?
Isn't the dad a parent as well?
I bet if the dads answers those questions in the video, they won't know much either.
But yup, my point is - Why specify moms?
Kind of pissed off, lolol.

Bought airtickets to Japan!!!!
So fun.
And lol, if I returned a day later, which is on a Sunday, the airtickets would cost $700-ish.
$100 more. :O
I think the troublesome part now would be finding hotels.
Since the Japan map to me is a blur.
So I'd have no idea which is central (for us to get to places easier). Lolol.

It's more of a mystery than a horror IMO.
But still, a nice movie!!!
Been eyeing it since when I first saw the trailer, HAHA. /o/
And saw the recent court news about the website which garnered hate towards the government.
I felt that it was a little scary.
That anyone can just fake a 'name', and post things.
No one can verify the source or how true it is. And websites like these exist.
Tbqh, some people are a little contradictory?
Like, they believe what they read from dubious sites. But when the dubious sites say something that's against them, they would go - how can people believe that?!
Such contradiction.
