Anyway, main point I'm going to talk about today is about my D&D yesterday. LOL.

It's like my first D&D here with SP group (my organisation), haha.
The D&D's theme was masquerade party.
The masks are quite cool.

Unexpectedly, lots of people wore full length dresses/gowns.
Felt a little underdressed. But yup, black makes things better. LOL.

Need to think of situations in which I can wear my black dress too.
Like maybe when I want to dress as a witch? HAHAHAHA. #justkidding

Food is awesome!
Reminds me of the 开工 lunch for CNY.

Fast forward, the event has ended.
So yupp.
I didn't know fairmont was at the top of Raffles City, lolol.

Quite late by the time we ended. Around 11+pm.
So I was following people blindly to find how to go to the mrt. LOL.

Wanted to find it myself first, but the main floor that I know of has closed.

Thus, followed group A.
Not close with this group actually. LOL.
I think I just randomly followed behind them then added random comments.
One girl kept staring at me. Must be wondering where I came from. LOL.

Midway, I saw group B.
Closer with the group as we actually talk to each other every few days.
One said just walk together, and she wanted to get her bag from her manager's car. So yup, went down the basement to the car. Then went back up again.
We were wondering how to go to the mrt.
Since every exit was blocked. LOL.

Spotted person C.
Then told group B, person C must be going to the mrt.
So just follow. HAHAHHAHAH.

And yup, we all went down the basement to find the exit out to the mrt.
Yay.

Don't know how much time I spent going from following group A to B to see person C. LOL.

So, lesson learnt is that I now know how to exit from inside Raffles City to the mrt. Lolol. #mainpoint

Officially checked off something off my bucket list.

Raclette cheese!!!

Had this raclette cheese toast with ice cream just now.
Super nice, omg.
Meaning of life.
Reason for my existence.

It's at Meet & Melt, and it's only at Tampines.
Think I went to Jun Yuan Primary for mentoring when I was in TP.
Louis, if you're reading this, please correct if I'm wrong, haha.

Been sick this past week.
Kind of sian.
And is like, the more you are not allowed to eat fried food/unhealthy food etc, the more you want to eat those? LOL.

But anyway, back to raclette cheese, I would recommend cheese lovers to try!!
Seen the video of raclette cheese on facebook before. It's actually of another food place but ya, nvm haha.

Picture the swiss cheese wheel > add heat > cheese melts > cheese goes gooey > cheese is placed on top of your food.
OMGGGGGGG.

Let me recover completely so I can eat this 24/7, hahahahhaha.

The most epic CNY visitation just happened today.

So before heading there, I asked my dad for the address so I could try using Grab to see how much it was.
He told me Blk 286.

Saw that the price was actually $9, and there were no discount codes so we didn't use it.

When we were there, my dad said it was Blk 268. LOL.

Anyway nvm, headed up to the lift and went to the ninth floor.
Dad had called beforehand that we were heading over. So we know there are people at home.

So upon reaching there, the doorbell was pressed and nobody opened the door.
Stood outside the corridor for quite a while.
My brother and I started doubting if we were at the correct floor.
My bro went downstairs to double check. LOL.

At this point, I was already laughing. LOL.

Pressed the doorbell somemore and even knocked on the door.
My dad kind of used his hand to open the 木门 too. But it was locked. LOL.

My bro and I had doubtful expressions by then HAHA.
Asked my dad to just call to double check.
Bc we usually come once a year, and we don't really remember, lolol.

After hanging up the phone call, I asked what is the unit number. He said it's there.
My brother continued asking if he asked for the unit number. He said no. LOL. Before that I also asked him if he has written the exact address on his phone or something. But no too. LOL.

Idk how, but we decided to check the other unit. Turns out it was actually there. LOL.

Before that, my dad was saying like doorbell not working or something on the phone. Lolol.
I thought I could hear the doorbell ringing clearly. Omg.

Imagine if there were people at home, and the person actually opened the door.
Would have been so funny. LOL.

Attempted to do seaweed crackers yesterday.
Wasn't that nice. LOL.
Need to get saltier seaweed next time!

Tomorrow's gonna be Chinese New Year already.
Omg so fast?

Went to walk around Chinatown.
Got some CNY goodies.
First time going there in 24-going-25 years in my life, lol.

Also received CNY goodies from a client this morning.
Client is super sweet. So nice to feel appreciated. #financialconsultantforlife

As 2016 comes to a close, let me review what I have done this year:

• Gone through a heartbreak (thanks but no thanks? LOL.) Didn't know I could cry that much. Honestly amazed. Didn't know I can recover (from crying) that fast too. LOL.
• Fun open-house with all the gambling over at CNY
• Survived the last year of UOL. I graduated!!
• First time going to Japan - ie butler cafe omg
• First time going to Penang
• Explored cafes in JB
• I think I went overseas quite a few times this year, lolol #passportmostchoppedyear
• Went to Hebe's concert
• Only cooked once this year? The milo tiramisu, lol
• Maintained Starbucks gold card
• Christmas Wonderland
• Botanic Gardens's christmas deco
• Contour for the first time in my life
• Buying other brand's makeup items
• BB share-a-gift
• Hit my goal for work I set myself this year #thankful
• Won LINE stuff - notepads LOL
• Bought Hebe's new album

Made some diy tiramisu for 8 people for the Christmas party on Tuesday.
Have already decided which 6 to give.
May eat the other 2, or give to 2 more people. LOL.

So the last time I made them, it was pretty successful?
I had good reviews. So, LOL. But didn't take a photo then bc it wasn't photogenic.

Here's my recipe, after cross-referencing via 3 blogs.

Milo Tiramisu (with crushed Kit Kat)

Ingredients:

• 200ml whipping cream
• 250g mascarpone cheese
• Savoiardi (ladyfingers)
• 3 in 1 instant milo

Instructions:

1. Prepare 3 in 1 instant milo as per normal - leave aside for later use.
2. Beat whipping cream and add milo powder until creamy. (I added one tablespoon of milo, and I spilled some whipped cream on the floor as I was whipping, LOL.)
3. Add mascarpone cheese and mix. Added a few teaspoons of milo as I was mixing.
4. Place ladyfingers on the jar. I tend not to like it when it's dipped, so I would pour 1/2 teaspoons of milo over the ladyfinger biscuit.
5. Layer with cheese. Number of layers up to you. Some of my jar had 3 layers, some had 2 layers.
6. Sprinkle with crushed kitkat or just dust with milo. (I did both this time round)

And omg, it's done!!!

Anyway, basically why I use 250g of mascarpone cheese is because I bought the 500g one (referring to the mascarpone cheese).
So using half of it is easier, given our supermarket's whipping cream's standard size is 200g.
I guess the proportion of whipped cream and mascarpone is different this time round since I spilled some of the whipped cream, lolol.

Didn't like the texture of whipped cream when it's too hard? Lol. So I'd do it till creamy.
And one thing to note is to remember to pour the 1 or 2 teaspoons of milo over the ladyfinger biscuit.
I forgot to do for one, and I attempted to redo it by scraping a little of the cheese off, and pour the milo through there. HAHAHA.

I was trying to find Kit Kat tiramisu recipes online but couldn't find. :(
Wonder if it's because the texture is fundamentally different.
Like the tiramisu base is soft/creamy and ice-cream like, whereas kit kat is harder?
So clash of taste in the tastebuds.

I still have the other half ingredients to do another batch of this?
Haha. Might experiment with another flavour, or just stick to this, lolol.

Tbqh, I've noticed that as I change effects, my face shape doesn't change.
So does it mean it's the angle in which I smile, which makes my photos different? Lol.
Like because I like to smile (showing my teeth), thus it showed my rounder cheeks? Lol.

Anyway, wrote letters to our 10 year later selves and to each other for our secondary school clique.

Also went to Pricilla's house to make bread!
End product so nice. First time eating freshly made bread too.
Jieying cooked scrambled eggs and mushrooms.

Scrambled eggs seem pretty simple to cook. Shall try it next time.

Been trying out a new way of drawing my eyebrows last Monday.
I think I've gotten used to it?
No wonder my friends get frustrated when their eyebrows are not nice. Lol.

I think my makeup skill has increased too.
All thanks to my Secret Santa - Jovey for the contouring stick!!

I feel like makeup is so amazing. LOL.
Much sense of accomplishment.
